How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I use twitter to listen and stay on top of the latest developments within my field and to connect with both influentials and prospects.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter because that is where I learn to know new people, not just people I knew already.
What feature should Twitter add?
I was always waiting for a gallery of the latest photos people posted. We've got that now :)
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I try to avoid shortenings if I can. I try to rephrase instead. Good practice, acutally :)
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Loads of people. As soon as people start spamming I throw them out.
Why should we vote for you?

Yes, that happens, specially if I'm live tweeting from some event.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That it is chaos. Your stream is just as interesting and much fun as you choose it to be. Follow wisely.
Why should people follow you?
Because I tweet in person, I tell stories, I interact and I inspire.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
oh, there are so many. I really enjoy following people who are following their passion!
How do you decide what to tweet?
I just tweet what inspires me - that is usually likely to inspire others as well :)
Why'd you start tweeting?
To connect with thought leaders in my field, with excellent results.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
It has opened up doors to fantastic opportunities of connecting and working together with inspiring people from around the world.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Check the links before they retweet. Just in case, so they know what they are actually tweeting.
How will the world change in the next year?
We've been seeing how social media has been empowering people. Now we'll see how people can handle that power.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Thinking twitter is an advertising channel. It's not! It's a communication channel.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Hopefully a world where information sharing has empowered the poorest and made the world more just, informed and equal.
